Product informatie
The Uppertones 7" EP
Tracks
1. Open Your Heart
2. No One
3. Treat Me Right
The Uppertones is a very strong sounding trio that gives the Jamaican 50s sound a new lease of life with trombone, vocals, piano and drums. Expect Jamaican boogie, calypso and mento mixed with a hefty dose of swing. Don't forget your dancing shoes because the sound of these men immediately ensures a lively party.
Mr. T-Bone, Count Ferdi and (since 2018) Phil Cuomo together form The Uppertones. Independently of each other, they have played all over the world and have contributed enormously to the international ska and reggae scene. Since the founding of the band in early 2016, The Uppertones have toured non-stop until September 2018, with around 255 shows. Highlights were Festival Mundial, Oerol, MadNes, Mighty Sounds (CHZ), Freedom Sounds Festival (DE) and London International Ska Festval (UK).
